I am Baruni Jakkula, a sophomore in Cleveland central high school, currently residing in Mississippi, with a deep love for science and a strong commitment to academic excellence. I am an active member of the National Junior honor society, Beta Club and Mu Alpha Theta, reflecting my passion for leadership, community service, and mathematics. I am also a varsity athlete on both the swimming and tennis teams, having won several state championships in singles and doubles tennis matches.
Beyond academics and sports, I have a strong interest in the arts. I enjoy Indian classical dance and instrumental music, having performed in several cultural shows. My artistic side also extends to drawing, where I won the Best of Show award. Additionally, I spend some time engaging in spiritual practices, including singing devotional songs and reciting Vedas.
My love for words led me to win the state spelling bee and participate in the Scripps National Spelling Bee, and I now conduct workshops for aspiring spellers at my school. I actively participate in community events, including city and school clean-up initiatives, contributing to a cleaner environment. My ultimate goal is to become a doctor and make a positive impact on the world through medical science
