I am Drithi Pasupuleti, a rising senior at Interlake High School, who gratefully accepts this opportunity in part of my journey to pursue a career in child psychiatry. I am passionate about advocating for physical and mental fitness as key elements of our well-being.
As a proud co-founder of the Seattle Neuro Education Initiative, I have been actively contributing to the community, making neuro education accessible to students worldwide. My involvement over the past four years has been diverse, from mentoring students to advocating for voter registration, STEM education, women’s rights, and mental health. I lead a mental health advocacy group, planning workshops and creating advocacy posts on social media. My commitment to the environment is evident in my contributions to earth restoration and horticulture projects. In addition, I enjoy spending quality time with friends, playing golf, practicing piano, singing, volunteering, and engaging in robotics. These experiences have enriched my life and have shaped me into a well-rounded individual.
The Fitness Initiative, with its dual focus on physical and mental health, has the potential to be a pivotal platform to champion the integral connection between physical activity and mental wellness. I am thankful to contribute to this initiative.
